Hard Work Prevails: Jeremy Tabuyo Of Saint Louis Share His Thoughts
When it comes to gaining exposure for yourself or getting your name out there to any coach, Hawaii is one of the most difficult places to accomplish that.
Unfortunately the state of Hawaii is so isolated from the other 49 states it makes it so hard for us Island athletes to get noticed. I believe there are so many talented kids living on the Island that have a chance to go to a college for free its just a matter of fact of getting our names out there to everyone.
Sounds easy but its not.
Families will usually have to spend hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars to travel to the Mainland to attend camps and clinics so that they can get some recognition across the country.
For those who are less fortunate with finances the cheapest and best way is to make a highlight tape of yourself and post it onto youtube hoping that coaches will be interested.
Good luck to all of the Players from the Island of Hawaii and work hard! That can not be replaced.
