Only schools located within cities on the Bay Area Census are eligible for the poll.

West Coast Preps unveiled the No. 25, No. 24 and No. 23 football teams in the Bay Area earlier this week.

No. 22: Las Lomas

The Knights of Las Lomas dominated in every facet last season.

Las Lomas went 11-2, advancing to the North Coast Section Division III championship game before falling to Rancho Cotate in 7-0 fashion, coming within one score of being the top dog in the section. Of its two losses that year, the other of which came to Campolindo, occurred to squads with a combined 21-7 record – one of which was a state runner-up.

During that glorious run to the title contest, Las Lomas’ defense rarely let opponents get through it, holding teams to just 9.9 points per game, while three teams failed to score a point and only three teams notched 20-plus points on it. Additionally, Las Lomas’ offense produced 38.6 points per game.

Plenty of experience returns on a roster filled with college talent. San Jose State safety commit Jalen Apalit-Williams is back for his senior season, and first team all-league offensive lineman Mason Reese – whose offer list includes Lincoln, Northwestern St. Paul and Southern Oregon – is back for his final high school campaign.
