Whenever Vintage junior running back Dylan Smith touches the ball, an incredible play is usually in store.
Smith, guiding the Crushers to numerous blowouts and a No. 12 ranking in the Bay Area Football Rankings, needed just 24 carries in March to reach 398 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, as he averaged 16.6 yards per carry.
Smith ran for 112 yards and three touchdowns on just five carries in the season opener, followed by 197 yards and two scores on seven carries in week No. 2 and then 89 yards and three touchdowns on 12 touches in the third game.
