After a masterful performance during the third week of the Winner Circle Athletics Champions League, San Ramon Valley junior quarterback garnered West Coast Preps Athlete of the Week honors.
Quigley was unstoppable in Cal Strength’s 29-0 demolition of Proj3ct Elite, throwing for 157 yards and three touchdowns to keep Cal Strength’s record at a perfect 3-0 midway through the season in Los Angeles.
Two of Quigley’s three touchdown strikes went for 40-plus yards, completing a 40-yard score to San Ramon Valley sophomore Caleb Padrid to make the score 29-0 and a 45-yard score to Monte Vista senior Judah Sheppard. His other touchdown was for 10 yards to Pittsburg senior Matthew Quesada.
Quigley emerged into an early star at SRV, producing a sophomore season that was one of the best across California in 2019 – 1,502 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and six interceptions, as the Wolves won seven games and were North Coast Section Division I quarterfinalists.
William & Mary offered Quigley six days following the conclusion of his sophomore season.
