This game featured two 4-1 teams who had played well all year, but the AV Heat separated themselves from the South Western Warriors by pummeling them, 35-0. There was nothing that the Heat could do wrong all day as they had big play after big play, putting themselves in the conversation as one of the best teams in the Champions League.
In this Bowl game, the AV Heat came out and fumbled on their first possession. After that the domination started, forcing a fumble on the Warriors drive following their own fumble. The AV Heat then had the offense take over and the scoring started in the second quarter as a 3-yard plunge by the big fullback put them up 7-0.
The following drive by the Warriors was a quick three-and-out, giving the Heat just enough time to get the final drive of the half into the endzone. A last second, last play heave into the endzone brought down in the back corner for an incredible throw and catch put the Heat up 14-0.
As the two teams came out of halftime not much changed. The Heat came out and scored a touchdown to take the score to 21-0. The very next play the Warriors fumbled and AV Heat returned for a touchdown. In the matter of two plays it went from 14-0 at the half to 28-0 late in the third quarter.
As we got into the fourth it turned into garbage time football as the game was well in control for the Heat. The Heat added one more touchdown with a 60-yard strike on an impressive throw, catch and run.
The Warriors did not stop fighting as they were driving at the end of the game but could not get it in the end zone before time expired and the blow out was finished as AV Heat ended their season 5-1 and the Warriors ended the season with a 4-2 record.
