CCS Open Division: No. 3 Mitty 6, No. 2 Hollister 1
Mitty advanced to the CCS Open Division championship game with a semifinal win over second-seeded Hollister on Wednesday. Senior pitcher Kyleigh Mace was stellar for the Monarchs, throwing a complete game while allowing one run on two hits and three walks, striking out 10. Offensively, senior Alyssa Hahn and sophomore Adelle Duncan each had a hit and drove in two runs. Mitty will face Willow Glen in Saturday’s championship game.
CCS Division 1: No. 4 Hillsdale 8, No. 1 San Mateo 4

NCS Division 2: No. 3 Northgate 3, No. 2 Salesian 0
Ashley Herman continued her dominant postseason run for Northgate, shining in the circle against Salesian. Herman tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out 15 batters. At the plate, junior Sophie Hanko finished with a double and two RBIs. Northgate advances to the NCS championship game, where it will face Foothill on Saturday.
NCS Division 2: No. 8 Foothill 8, No. 12 Casa Grande 7
Senior Naima Branham finished with two hits — including a home run — and two RBIs, playing a key role in Foothill’s semifinal win over Casa Grande. Freshman Madden Dinsley-Klinefelter also contributed, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI. The Falcons will face Northgate in the championship game Saturday at noon.
CCS Division 4: No. 1 Notre Dame-Belmont 14, No. 5 King’s Academy 2

CCS Division 1: No. 2 Valley Christian 3, No. 3 Los Gatos 0
Rahul Patel pitched a gem for Valley Christian on Wednesday night, helping send the Warriors back to the CCS championship game with a win over Los Gatos. Patel threw a complete-game shutout against a hot Wildcats offense, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out 10. At the plate, junior Logan Mull had two hits and two RBIs, while Nathan Miller went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Colton Hadfield also ripped two doubles. Valley Christian will face Soquel in Saturday’s championship game.
NCS Division 2: No. 2 Northgate 5, No. 3 Casa Grande 4 (8 innings)
Northgate advanced to the NCS Division 2 championship game with an extra-inning semifinal win over Casa Grande. Senior Luke Dress hit a home run and drove in two runs, while junior Tyler Eby finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Northgate will face Alameda in Saturday’s championship game.
NCS Division 2: No. 12 Alameda 7, No. 2 Bishop O’Dowd 2
Alameda’s offense came alive against Bishop O’Dowd in the semifinal win. Junior Jaden Noonan and Parker Nomura each finished with two hits and an RBI, while Sam Berger and Noah Nonato each drove in two runs. On the mound, Carter Grant threw a gem, pitching 5 2/3 innings while allowing one earned run on three hits and four walks, striking out 10. Alameda will face Northgate for the NCS title Saturday.
CCS Division 5: No. 1 San Mateo 8, No. 5 Saint Francis-Watsonville 4
The Bearcats’ offense powered San Mateo into the CCS Division 5 championship game. Julio Calderon finished 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, while senior Christian Louie went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Travis Okimura added a double and two RBIs. On the mound, Jesus Olivas pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits while striking out four. San Mateo will face Half Moon Bay in Friday’s section championship game.
