Washington State offers Pittsburg sophomore QB

Washington State became the latest school to offer Pittsburg sophomore quarterback Jaden Rashada.

Rashada, tabbed as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class by multiple outlets, now has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, California, Oregon State, Penn State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah and Washington State. 

As Liberty’s backup last season, Rashada – behind current Oregon quarterback Jay Butterfield – completed 12 of 22 passes for 129 yards and three touchdowns.

Berry’s first SEC offer

Tennessee was the first SEC school to offer De La Salle junior defensive back and receiver Zeke Berry.

Berry’s offer list also includes Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah and Washington State.

Recently bumped up to a four-star recruit, Berry had 12 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown as a sophomore, along with one interception defensively, in De La Salle’s run to a 28th consecutive North Coast Section title and a runner-up finish to eventual national champion St. John Bosco in the California INterscholastic Federation Open Division state championship contest.

Chapman offers two Bay Area athletes

Bellarmine senior receiver and cornerback Adam Hayashi got his first offer from Chapman. Hayashi broke up seven passes and had one interception his junior year.

Bishop O’Dowd senior receiver Ben Martin was also offered by Chapman. He also boasts Cal Lutheran, La Verne and Puget Sound offers.
