BREAKING: California allows return of outdoor high-contact sports

California announced the return of outdoor high-contact sports under its updated guidelines.
Outdoor high-contact sports can be played beginning on Feb. 26 if those counties are in the Purple or Red tier.
Athletes in football, rugby and water polo are required to get weekly testing. Sports like baseball, cheerleading and softball can compete without the weekly testing requirement.
